The University partners (ETHZ, TU Berlin) provide the
main part of the infrastructure for students or PhD students working on
common projects (e.g. development tool licenses and support, bonding
and thin film labs, high quality measurement equipment). The RF design
knowledge is integrated in current multi-semester electronics courses
with applications in wired and wireless areas.
IBM offers access to Si processes several times per year for PhD
students working on common projects or for RF design classes. IBM
finances assistant researchers at ETHZ for collaborative research and
also provide hardware infrastructure for the used design tools.
